Rose Milkweed | Asclepias Incarnata

$10.00

Rose milkweed is a water-loving member of the Milkweed genus. Like the other Asclepias species, it’s a host to the Monarch Butterfly. As the common name suggests, rose milkweed produces showy, rose-colored flowers with a sweet fragrance that attracts nectar-loving pollinators of all kinds. It typically blooms between June and August, and though it grows best in wet soil, it can handle medium soil moisture as well. Rose milkweed is sometimes called Swamp Milkweed—it makes a great addition to any wetland area, whether it’s a wet meadow, near a pond, or a low spot in a home landscape.
