Red Winesap is an improved all-red Winesap. It's a hardy, medium sized cooking apple, known for its aromatic fragrance and rich, spicy flavor. Makes delicious apple juice and cider. With a little care, will store until spring. Self-pollinating. Resistant to russeting and fire blight. Ripens mid-October to early November depending on location.


Red Winesap apples are great for cider, fresh eating, and cooking.

Root Stock: G969: 12-15ft, 15 ft between trees. Semi-dwarf, 12-15ft, resistant to fireblight, crown rot, and woolly apple aphid with good cold hardiness.

Sun: Full Sun

Region of Origin: Southern, USA

Container Size: 3 gal
