The flesh is relatively slow to soften, and the skin peels easily, making it an easy canning peach. The tree is very hardy, vigorous, frost-resistant, and self-pollinating. Highly recommended for cold climates like Maine, as the flowers have exceptional tolerance to spring frosts. Ripens in late August.
