Eastern Leatherwood is a native shrub with tough, flexible branches (hence the common name!) and long-lasting yellow-green flowers in early Spring. The foliage turns bright yellow in autumn. Prefers moist, shaded areas. Reaches about 4-6 ft at full maturity. It’s a slow-growing species, but it’s worth the wait!
