Graparon Pear Tree
Graparon is an ancient pear variety that originated in Turkey and the Caucuses and was more widely established in Sweden (Graparon means “gray pear” in Swedish). The fruit is juicy with white flesh, and it’s great for fresh eating or cooking. It’s a late blooming variety, and it’s extremely cold-hardy, growing in zones 1-3 and beyond.
