Sweet Sixteen apples are flavorful with a sweet, unusual taste reminiscent of cherry candy. An aromatic, firm, crisp, and sweet fruit with nutty undertones. Excellent for desserts, pie, sauces, or fresh eating. Handles and stores well; vigorous. Resistant to scab and fire blight; extremely cold-hardy. Dependable annual bearer.


Sweet Sixteen apples are great for fresh eating.

Root Stock: G969: 12-15ft, 15 ft between trees. Semi-dwarf, 12-15ft, resistant to fireblight, crown rot, and woolly apple aphid with good cold hardiness.
