Northern Spy apples are a large, gorgeous apple that ripens late in the fall, nearly winter. It is one of those that only come to those who wait. The white flesh is juicy and crunchy with a rich flavor. All-purpose and good for storage. Originated around 1800 in New York. A late-season apple with a sweet-tart flavor. They are excellent for pies, baking, and cider.

Root Stock: G969: 12-15ft, 15 ft between trees. Semi-dwarf, 12-15ft, resistant to fireblight, crown rot, and woolly apple aphid with good cold hardiness.
